I seriously never went to that class. Like, 3 lectures, total. Guess what? B. HA! I win.Tuesday, February 21, 2006
Well, the threat was for everyone to post their favorite memories of me but mom's were heart-warming enough that I don't mind :)So, I guess a general update is in order. Things are good; just school and work, as usual. My classes aren't too challenging, although the first exam in my accounting class kind of came out of left field and I did poorly on it. But now at least I know how this professor is. He seems really laid-back but the tests are definitely demanding. Not ridiculously so, but the way he tests demands a certain mastery of the subject, that's for sure. Nothing I can't handle, just have to step up to the plate and do it! My other class I have to force myself to go to. SO boring...that poor professor, she has to know that going to her class is a new form of torture. You know me, I tried to put a happy face on it, "Some students could really benefit from this class, if they're not familiar with Microsoft products,"...but fuck that, it's fucking boring!
*cough*
Sorry for that little outburst, I just really hate going to that class. In fact I think I'll just stop going. (That's going to go over well.)

I was threatened within an inch of my life if I didn't update. (Love you too, Mom.)So now I threaten you within an inch of YOUR life if you don't answer this question, in my comments:
What's your favorite memory of me?

Ultimatums: the fastest to kill a relationship. Only use them if you really mean it, and are prepared to face the consequences. ESPECIIALY if you're giving them to a man.Oh, and disclaimer--this isn't about anything happening with me. Just a little commentary for what's going on around me.

So I think my job is going to be extinct eventually. I actually had someone come through the drive-thru today and say, "Your ATM is broken; can I make a deposit here?"...
I'm still at a loss. Seriously though, I don't know about other banks, but Wachovia ATMs have taken a step past just withdrawls and balance inquiries. You can get statements, do balance transfers, make deposits with less cash, and do just about anything else that a teller used to have to do for you. I'm going to be obsolete.

Happy 2006, everyone! It's been a really good year for me so far. Since it's only the 5th, that could be really promising, or just a sign that the bad hasn't had time to set in yet. As the eternal optimist, I'm going with the former.
I spent the holiday weekend in Tampa and Orlando, visiting with friends. Sound tame? You have no idea.
It's all enchanted and wild,
It's just like my heart said it was gonna be...
I know that's vague. I'm sorry. But I have a tendency to jinx things, so I think I'm going to hold this one close for a while, and see how time lays it out before I get too excited.
I wish you out of the woods,
And into the picture with me.
I wish you over the moon,
Come out of the question
And be.

The other day at the mall I really wished I owned a camera phone. There's a mannequin up in Victoria's Secret...that has a face. I think it's supposed to look like one of their models but all dressed up in lingerie and carrying a riding crop, it was a little disturbing. Check it out while you're doing your holiday shopping.
